The artist originally (as most accomplished fine artist do) honed his skills as an illustrator in Detroit, San Francisco, New York, & Los Angeles. He traveled extensively to work and study in 13 European Countries and on the Sub-Continent of India. He also traveled in the Thailand, Indo-Chinese countries to assimilate the mystic inner self images, which has been somewhat reflective in his light, soft elegance of palette.

The artist has served, honorably, as President of the prestigious Society of Art Center.

One to always expand his technique and scholarship, he has followed the path of the grand “Old World” masters who were anxious to share their knowledge of fine art with emerging talents by teaching at the “Ecole de Beaux Arts” in Paris; he, in this tradition. Instills the passion of painterly excellence through teaching special workshops.

One must note, that the noted Italian scholars of fine high art have always endorsed the fact that Grand Masters has always allowed the intellect to control the hand. This statement is most notable in the works of this Master, Ronald McKee.
