F. George Papperitz was a history and genre painter. He also did portrait painting.

He studied under Gustav Friedrich Papperitz before going to the Academy in Dresden and Anvers. He visited Italy and Holland.

He exposed in 1886 in Berlin and in 1900 in Paris, where he won medals.

His pieces are in the Museums of Bautzen, Buccarest, Danzig, Munich, Sheffield, and Worzbourg.

Collectors are in Paris, Frankfort, New York, and others.
